Who we are
Marlene Limon, M.A., is the Founder + CEO of Educandi LLC. Marlene is an educator, advocate and consultant who has worked across several industries ranging from teaching, advocacy, consulting, marketing, human resources and sales in education, special education, higher education, edtech, high tech and information technology. Marlene's unique background in edtech, high tech, information technology and education in combination with her love of technology makes her a valuable asset to the edtech field and community. Having worked for various Fortune 500 companies and in the high tech arena for most of her early career combined with being a seasoned educator with years of experience in the classroom, Marlene fully understands the challenges and obstacles families, educators, schools, universities and organizations face in today's digital world. More importantly, she is able to share her expertise with families, educators, schools, universities and organizations on the best methods and practices in understanding, implementing and using edtech resources at school, work and home.
Marlene has over 15 years combined experience in teaching, advocacy and consulting. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from Pepperdine University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Management from Texas A&M University. Marlene has served as a teacher and program administrator for educational programs from early elementary to the university level. Her hands-on approach includes working with students in both the general education and special education environment from grades K-12 to post-secondary and she is licensed to teach in California. Her professionalism, sound judgment, compassion, dedication, and reputation for high integrity are the hallmarks of Marlene's work ethic. Marlene is an enthusiastic and powerful advocate for the educational rights of all learners.
